The Canadian-bred comic geniuses stretched sketch comedy to its ultimate limits with hilariously off-the-wall results achieving critical and fan acclaim. From the infamous Chicken Lady and Cabbage Head to Buddy Cole and the Headcrusher, the pioneering, edgy and ever-charming comedians created the most unhinged, unprecedented and unpredictable acclaimed cult series. No subject was too sacred; no corner of the human experience too strange or scary to hide from the harsh but blisteringly funny comments The Kids had to make on them.

“We are excited to bring out this landmark series in a special collection on DVD,” states J.W. Starrett, Director of Product Development for Mill Creek Entertainment.  “Their unique brand of comedy changed the comedy landscape and influenced a new generation of comedians.”

The groundbreaking five-man sketch comedy troupe discovered by SNL’s Lorne Michaels in the late 1980s took their blockbuster live shows from the packed performance spaces in and around Toronto, Canada and brought it right into the living rooms of Canadian and American audiences. All five of the original cast members – Dave Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney, and Scott Thompson – have gone on to achieve individual fame through a variety of solo work in both television and film, but the troupe continues to bring their unequaled brand of humor to stage and screen whenever their busy schedules allow.
