Mill Creek puts out 20 movie collections pretty often and some can be a lot of fun. This set is a collection of 20 horror films from various decades. I’ll talk about the stand out films, you can see the full list below.

What We Thought:

Like all of Mill Creek’s 20 movie collections, this 20 Movie Horror Collection has a couple of standouts and solid films. The best of the bunch is easily Eli Roth’s Hostel films. Hostel and Hostel 2 are two of the best horror films of the past 20 years. The sequel is just as good as the original and if you are a horror fan and don’t own them, this collection is worth it for those two alone.

Kevin Bacon’s Hollow Man is also quite good. The sequel isn’t as good, but the first one is worth seeing. Anaconda is also a cult classic. The Ice Cube/Jennifer Lopez film is pretty ridiculous, but it’s a lot of fun.

I always thought Anatomy was pretty solid. It’s sequel isn’t nearly as good but the first film is worth owning. The Cave is pretty good as well.

There are a few I wasn’t familiar with. Bats: Human Harvest and Fatal Contact: Bird Flu in America are films you expect to be tacked on to a collection like this. Vampires: The Turning too.

But if you don’t own the Eli Roth films, then definitely pick up 20 Movie Horror Collection. They are worth the price alone.
