A Story of Hope, Romance, and Holiday Magic!

Patrick Stewart, Gary Cole and Cheryl Hines Star in the Hilarious Comedy Available on DVD November 1, 2016

Bring home some holiday cheer this season with a hilarious family-friendly comedy when Christmas Eve arrives on DVD November 1, 2016 from Anchor Bay Entertainment. Produced by Larry King, the film that is sure to put anyone in the holiday spirit is written and directed by Mitch Davis (The Other Side of Heaven) and features an all-star cast including Tony Award Winning and Emmy® and Golden Globe® nominee Patrick Stewart (Star Trek: The Next Generation, X-Men, “Blunt Talk”), Emmy® nominee Gary Cole (Talladega Nights,“Veep”), James Roday (“Psych,” The Dukes of Hazzard), Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite, Blades of Glory), Cheryl Hines (“Curb Your Enthusiasm,” RV), Max Casella (“The Sopranos,” “Boardwalk Empire”), Julianna Guill (Friday the 13th) and more. When a power outage traps six different groups of New Yorkers inside elevators on Christmas Eve, they find that laughter, romance and a little holiday magic will get them through – and change their lives in unexpected ways. A heartless real estate tycoon (Stewart) clings to life in a precarious construction elevator hundreds of feet off the ground, unexpected relationships bloom for a musician (Hines) stuck with her dysfunctional orchestra mates, an aspiring fashion photographer (Roday) is confined with the introverted paralegal in his apartment building (Guill), a crass HR manager (Casella) finds himself trapped with an employee he just fired (Heder), and a cynical doctor (Cole) transporting his terminal patient is forced to reconsider his beliefs. This all-star ensemble comedy proves that in a city of eight million, you never know who you might get stuck with.

The perfect stocking stuffer for this year’s holiday celebration, Christmas Eve will be available on DVD for the suggested retail price of $22.98.
